I'm sure most of you have ran into my sister at least once in the hallway. If you know what I look like (and it's fine if you don't! I certainly don't know the faces of everyone in our school), and saw my sister you probably made the conclusion right then and there. You know, that we're twins and that my sister is super duper smart and skipped two grades while I'm the "dumb one".
Haha, just kidding!!
(I once told a friend, who knew me for two years at that point, this and she believed me!! The audacity!)
Just to make it clear though, Ashley (that's my older sister's name!) and I are NOT twins! Personally, I don't get how people can even consider that cuz um hello she has pale skin while I have tanner skin, she has blue eyes while I have hazel eyes, her hair is dirty blonde while mine is literally a magenta-ish whatever color, I could just go on and on when it comes to physical differences between us!
Regardless, while this is a very important topic and public service announcement IMO, I have something else I'd like to share with you guys... An interview with Ashley!
Without further ado...
Question: Are you aware that multiple people have called you my more "depressed, emo, and shorter" version?
Answer: "Yes, I am aware. No one has said it to my face, however. You, on the other hand, [removed by interviewer]."
Ok, that wasn't very nice! Next question.
Question: What animal describes you best?
Answer: "Cats because they sleep all day and like the sun. Also, they do nothing. And while I am always doing a lot, at heart I am also doing nothing."
Uh, ok cool I guess...
Question: So, I've heard you like photography a lot. Can you show us either some of your favorite photos online or of photos that you've taken?
Answer:
How come I wasn't one of them?
Question: What do you plan on majoring in college?
Answer: "Physics. And for everybody out there who are is thinking it, no. It is not rocket science."
She also wanted me to say something about not being "disgusted" or "scared" of it but, sorry dude, my moral compass isn't letting me commit that kind of sin today.
Question: Do you have any regrets concerning high school now that you're at the end?
Answer: "I do... Honestly, I wish I hadn't taken grades as seriously as I had. They're important but there's a lot you can do without pushing yourself. I wish I had allowed myself to explore other opportunities outside of school."
I hope someone learned something about Ashley today. Preferably that we are not twins.
Great interview - the three of you must have some fun at home! I like her last answer - something all 10th graders should learn from!
ReplyDeleteYes, what a legend and I beg to differ physics is basically rocket science
