Tacko Fall, he's large, and most certainly, in charge - Thomas Schwarzrock

Sunday, March 24th's battle on the hardwood, the NCAA's round of thirty-two had number-one ranked Duke university up against the hungry 9th ranked University of Central Florida. If you were watching this game, you might have noticed that there seemed to be something a little different about one of the players on UCF's starting lineup. Commonly mistaken for Godzilla, Tacko Fall is the starting center for UCF. Standing at 7 foot 6 inches tall, having an 8-foot long wingspan, and having a size 22 shoe, Tacko Fall is nothing less than a beast on the court. Fall and the entire UCF team had quite the challenge on Sunday though, being the underdog against one of the best teams in the nation, Duke University. Despite this dilemma, Tacko scored 15 points and had 3 blocks in 25 minutes against his cowering opponents, before he fouled out of the game. Not only did he play like a menace on Sunday, but his entire season has also been that of impressive stature. Tacko had a total of 367 points, 85 blocks, and snatched 251 rebounds. The top story surrounding Tacko was how he and Duke's power forward Zion Williamson would face up against each other, each of the players arguably being the superstar of their teams. Now, you can look at the statistics, with Zion scoring 32 points and Tacko only scoring 15, and say that Zion was the winner of their battle, this is certainly not the case. Tacko absolutely dominated Zion. At one point during the game, Zion went up for a lay up or dunk, but was stopped by the absolute wall of a man, Tacko Fall, making a fat block to be recovered by UCF. UCF then took the ball down the court, and after a missed jump-shot and a rebound collected by Fall right under the net, the big man then laid down a monstrous dunk. While there are many more examples of Tacko laying down the law, it was clear that he dominated not only this game, but was a dominant player throughout his entire basketball season, even career. While it is unclear where he will go in the NBA, or if he will even play professionally, the fact that he was an absolute tank playing in college is as clear as day.
