Dogs are Truly the Purest Creatures By Becca Lefkowitz

Okay, so as I was reading through articles trying to find one to write my blog post on, I found some that were interesting, but none stood out to me. It wasn't until I found literally the cutest article EVER that made my heart go aweeee!! I swear it like surged in size because what I found was so STINKIN cute. What I stumbled upon discussed how a blind golden retriever has a 'seeing eye' puppy to help him out.

An eleven-year-old dog named Charlie, had both of his eyes removed due to glaucoma. Canine glaucoma refers to a group of diseases in dogs that affect the optic nerve where there is increased pressure within the eyeball, causing a gradual loss of sight. Charlie ended up having both of his eyes removed within a year span. Maverick, a four-month-old puppy, recently became apart of the family and shortly after was Charlie's "seeing eye dog." Basically, Maverick helps Charlie get around without having any problems by walking close to him. Along with that Maverick brings out the puppy in Charlie, every time they play together. But what's even cuter is that the owners Adam and Chelsea Stipe claim, "when they would play, Maverick would realize that Charlie would lose the toy sometimes, so (Maverick) would pick it up and put it back in front of him to re-engage playtime." Okay, are you serious!!?? This is so adorable, and sets an example to humans, because if dogs can be this nice to each other why can't we? This article not only made me super happy but also made me want to follow in the example of Maverick and to be kind and helpful to those who need it. Who knew I could learn such an amazing lesson from a puppy?!

I am in awe, dogs are so precious and kind not only to humans but also to each other!! Literally, what did we do to deserve such pure and wholesome creatures?!

If you don't think this is the cutest thing ever then I suggest you go call a doctor and schedule a heart transplant because you are insane!!!!

  2. It is amazing how compassionate nature's creatures can be. People must learn from the examples set by Maverick and other animals and be kinder to one another.
