A Warm Fuzzy Feeling- Beth Nedelka

It was late November as I stuffed my face with the very last piece of turkey. As always, I saved room for a fat slice of pumpkin pie which would put an end to my fall spirits. There was a new festivity in town and it was Christmas!

Now that Thanksgiving is over we can jam out to good old Mariah without any judgement or controversy. Day by day another house is lit up by bright lights and more children get excited for Santa's arrival. December is definitely one of the best times of the year. Everyone is happy whether you're celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, or what ever you're heart desires nothing but smiles are worn on people walking down the street.

The German Christmas Market at the boardwalk is one of the best ways to get in the mood for the holiday. Christmas music is blasting as you squeeze through crowds of jolly shoppers and the only thing that can possibly warm you up is a nice cup of hot chocolate.

When its finally time to set up the Christmas tree I have to get properly equipped. So, I rush up into my room and bust out the cozy pajama pants and fuzzy socks while my parents put on our favorite Christmas music. I delicately place the ornaments on the tree making sure its secure. As the month progresses more and more presents appear under the tree and I continue to shop for my friends and family. Soon enough it will be Christmas day and the fire will burn giving the whole house a nice warmth almost much like the warm fuzzy feeling  Christmas gives me in my heart. :)
