What's Important To Me by Maura O'Hare

While searching for something to write about for this month's blog topic, I realized that what was most important to me was right in front of my face. The thing I care about the most in life is the people in it. To be honest, I don't know if I would be the person I am today if it wasn't for my friends and family. Obviously, I have a loving family. Yea, everyone is thankful for their family, but as lucky as I am, I have six other people in mine who all make a different impact on me. With two great parents who provide for me, two older siblings to be my role models, and two younger siblings that put a smile on my face everyday, I have to say these people mean a lot to me. They have been with me through it all, and without them, I would probably be a mess.

Besides my family, I have even more people and friends that are important to me. Thankfully I have many that all, even when they get on my nerves, mean the world to me. When I first moved to Sparta in 8th grade, I didn't know anyone and thought that I would never find people to hang out with because no one knew who I was. Surprisingly, I met so many boys and girls that I am still close with this year. I can turn to these people for help and when I am sad they make me laugh. I am lucky to have such close relationships with so many different types of people, that I learn so many different things from.

All the people in my life have shaped me to be who I am today.
