The Importance of a Smile :) by Beth Nedelka

What's most important to me? When thinking about what was important to me many things went through my mine. Family. Friends. Success. Pizza. With my brainstorming, I came to the conclusion that all of these things make me happy. My happiness is most important to me.

All of these different things contribute to my happiness in different ways. For example, my family is extremely important to me. I know they will always be there for me and the times we spend together  are (almost) always filled with joy. We take turns making fun of each other, out of love of course, and share family inside jokes that would seem odd to any outsiders.

One of the biggest factors of my happiness has to be my friends. My friend group is filled with amazing people that never ever fail to put a smile on my face. I have laughed so hard with them that my abs start to ache, and I swear it was a workout! We can simply share a look that says a thousand words and burst out laughing. Although we may be loud, or come across as crazy it's only because there is no way to contain the joy and laughter we get when we are around each other. Even on our bad days, my friends know how ot cheer me up. Whether it's stuffing our faces with food or having a dance party to forget about all of our responsibilities, my whole entire body is filled with happiness when I am with them. My friends make me so happy that sometimes I want to go to school just so I can see them! (crazy right?) We even have some very special songs we sing ;)

At the end of the day, we can make the most out of the life we are living. So why be sad when a life of smiles and laughter could lay ahead? If today was my last day on earth I sure as heck would want to spend it with a positive attitude!
Photo shoots never fail to make lab more fun.

  1. I want to hear those "special songs!" But, seriously, you are so lucky to have friends that make you feel this way. Hold onto them because there is something magical about having friends who have known you for just about your entire life!
